Employment Skills: Employability skills (ES) are the “ready for work” skills vital to do the job! These skills are crucial in enhance competitiveness and contribute to social inclusion. It is learning the fundamentals to creating an employable individual. Members must have skills and knowledge necessary to be good citizens, productive workers, and, most of all, life-long learners. These standards are designed to promote successful transition from Cherubim’s program to the workplace. A project-based approach will be used to address topics such as; career exploration, a personal life/goal plan, interviewing techniques, ethics in the workplace, relationships with technology and the world of work, transferable skills and abilities, and teamwork. This course will be broken down into two parts to address the higher level skills that members will need as they progress.
